How do I check my booked tickets on the District app?
After booking, you'll receive all the ticket details via WhatsApp and email. You can also view your booking by going to the 'Movie tickets' section in your profile on the District app.
What should I do if my order is showing as pending?
You can check the status by clicking on the 'Movie tickets' in the top section of your profile. If District cannot book the tickets with the cinema within 30 minutes, a refund will be initiated automatically.

I don't see a QR code on my tickets. How do I enter the cinema?
No worries! You can still get entry by showing the Booking ID or shortcode listed in your tickets. Head to your profile, select 'Movie tickets' in the top section and you're good to go.
Where can I find my invoice?
Your tax invoice is sent to your registered email. If your email is not linked, please register it. For assistance with your current order, reach out to our Movies support through the 'Help Center' section of your profile.
How do I find the total amount paid for movie tickets?
You can check the Order Page for a breakdown of charges and the total amount paid. This information is also sent via email and WhatsApp.
How do I book movie tickets on District?
Simply go to the 'Movies' section in the app, choose your movie, select a cinema and showtime, pick your seats, apply any promo code if applicable, and complete the payment.
Where do I collect my food and beverage order at the cinema?
Just swing by the food counter during the movie and grab your order. Show your Booking ID or QR code, available in your WhatsApp, email, or Order Page.
How do I cancel my movie booking?
If the cinema allows cancellations, you'll see a 'Cancel Tickets' option in your order. Review the terms and click 'Cancel Tickets' to complete the process.
How do I know if a cinema allows cancellations?
Cinemas that offer cancellations will display "Allows Cancellation," while others will show "Non-Cancellable" beneath the cinema name. Please check the cinema details carefully before completing your purchase.
Can I partially cancel or modify my movie booking?
Cinemas only allow full cancellations. If a cinema offers cancellations, you must cancel the entire booking; partial cancellations or modifications are not allowed.
How do I cancel my food and beverage order?
Food and beverage cancellations are only possible if you cancel your movie tickets. If the cinema doesn't allow ticket cancellations, food orders can't be canceled either.
I'm unable to cancel my booking. What should I do?
If your cinema supports cancellations and you're still having trouble, reach out to Movies support through the 'Help Center' in your profile, or email movies@district.in.
My show was canceled. Will I get a refund?
Yes, if the cinema cancels your show, we'll automatically initiate a refund. Refunds can take 7-8 working days.
My payment is pending. What should I do?
Please wait as we confirm the payment with your bank. If successful, your tickets will be booked. If it fails, we'll process a refund automatically.
Why is my refund amount less than what I paid?
Refunds are processed based on the cinema's cancellation policy. Check the terms and conditions on your Order Page for details, including any deductions for promo codes or fees.
Why is my payment failing repeatedly?
Double-check your account details, and make sure your app is updated. If issues persist, try using a different payment method.
What is the age limit for movies?
Children aged 3 and above need their own ticket, and those under 18 cannot attend 'A' certified movies.
My city or cinema is not listed on District. What can I do?
We're working hard to expand our services. In the meantime, we recommend booking at a nearby cinema.
Do I have to pay for 3D glasses?
Some cinemas may charge a small fee for 3D glasses, either online or at the auditorium.
How do I check if a movie has subtitles?
Look for the 'CC' icon next to the showtime. If it's there, the movie will have English subtitles.
What does "Free Seating" mean?
In some cases, cinemas may offer free seating. This means seats are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis after payment.
